at our North York location. This dual-role position requires someone with both clinical skills and strong administrative knowledge, especially within the motor vehicle accident (MVA), WSIB, and extended health care (EHC) sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties (OTA/PTA):
Assist therapists and chiropractor in implementing and submitting treatment plans and monitoring client progress.
Guide clients through exercises and therapeutic interventions as directed.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of treatment rooms and equipment.
Accurately document therapy sessions and report observations to clinicians.
Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
Administrative Duties (Clinic Coordinator):
Greet clients, schedule appointments, and manage front-desk communications.
Complete and submit OCF forms (OCF 1,OCF-23, OCF-24, OCF-18) with precision through HCIA/ Management software
Manage SAB claims, WSIB files, and extended health care (EHC) submissions via TELUS.
Communicate effectively with lawyers, adjusters, and third-party stakeholders.
Coordinate communication between healthcare providers, clients, and external partners.
Manage supplies and inventory; ensure the clinic is well-stocked, organized and clean
Support billing and invoicing processes as needed
Request and collect medical records from physicians, hospitals, lawyers and other providers.
Submit invoices and proactively follow up on outstanding payments.
Maintain accurate and confidential client files and documentation.
Ensure clinic operations run smoothly and efficiently each day.
Other duties.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited OTA/PTA diploma or certificate program.
Must have prior experience with OCF documentation, SAB claims, WSIB, EHC, and TELUS submissions.
Strong knowledge of MVA/insurance industry practices and documentation.
Experience communicating with legal representatives, insurance adjusters, and medical professionals.
Familiarity with clinic software, billing, and invoicing systems.
Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of professionalism.
