Our team of expert problem solvers works with the community to ensure that we meet the end-to-end delivery and service level expectations of our diverse catalogue of services.PositionWe are seeking an energetic, driven, and solution-focused Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant to join our Service Innovation team. Reporting to the Manager, Service Innovation, and working closely with project teams, extended leadership, and subject matter experts, your role will be pivotal in helping users understand and adopt the evolving processes and technology that Shared Services oversees.The OCM Consultant applies specialized knowledge and experience in various change management practices and methodologies to assist process users and other stakeholders to understand and adopt process changes. By working collaboratively as part of a Service Innovation team, the incumbent creates informed change management strategies that include communication and engagement activities, as well as integrating training/development and resistance management to encourage adoption.The OCM Consultant will play a key role in ensuring new change initiatives introduced into the organization meet business objectives. You will focus on the people side of change including changes to business processes, systems, and technology by creating and implementing program and project-related change management strategies, plans, and processes that maximize business value through employee adoption and usage. You have a high degree of professionalism, diplomacy, independence, flexibility, and exceptional interpersonal skills.Duties

  • Assess the learning and training needs of users through engagement sessions/focus groups to support the implementation and sustained adoption of Shared Services process improvements and projects.
  • Develop training plans and deliver training to various audiences through a variety of formats.
  • Design, develop, and maintain training materials, such as user manuals, quick reference guides, toolkits, procedures, and online modules, using various platforms, etc.
  • Work with other team members to apply change practices such as communications, engagement, change networks, etc, to promote and sustain enduring change.
  • Manage and support multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate a broad understanding of the internal and external context in which the University and Shared Services operate.
  • Proactively identify and interpret information that impacts Shared Services plans.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree or certification(s) in Change Management (e.g. Prosci, CCMP).
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in Change Management.
  • 1-3 years of leading major change initiatives with proven results.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluent in French.
  • Post-secondary experience in organizational change management, human resources, and large enterprise systems (e.g. PeopleSoft).
