The Opportunity
We are looking for an organized, detailed, deadline-oriented Order Centre Administrator to join our team immediately at our office in Surrey, BC. The Order Centre Administrator is responsible for detailed order entry, producing tickets, invoicing, filing and other administrative duties to support the production process. This position will report directly to the accountant
.
Hours of Work:
(40 hrs per week)
Mondays 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Tuesday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
Process customer orders received via email, online platform, and via phone accurately and promptly
Verify order details, including pricing, product availability, and shipping information
Communicate with customers and the sales team regarding sales order questions prior to entry
Follow up with our internal departments on outstanding order issues
Print and organize production tickets/reports for the manufacturing team
Answer customer calls and inquiries over the phone and/or email
Continuously seek opportunities to improve order processing efficiency
Support the sales, Administration/Finance & Production departments
Other general office duties as assigned

Skill Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Business or Office Administration
A minimum of 2 years of experience in office administration, data entry and order processing.
Ability to multitask and prioritize the daily workload in and fast-paced environment
Exceptional attention to detail
Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing customer needs
Excellent computer skills, including experience with an ERP and Microsoft Office 360
Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write & speak English fluently
Proven capability to thrive in high-pressure situations
Excellent people skills, both in person and via telephone
Be a team player with a positive attitude
Experience working in the manufacturing industry is an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
