Job Description

We are seeking an optometric assistant/receptionist. Candidate should be friendly, have good presentation, good communication skills, good computer skills, strong attention to detail and must enjoy teamwork. Experience in an optometry office is an asset but not required. We will gladly train the right person.

Daily Duties include:



Receiving patients warmly, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments according to established procedures and coordinating recalls. Accurately entering patient information and updating medical records Organize and maintain digital filing of patient charts, strictly upholding patient confidentiality Use computer systems extensively to handle data entry, record management, and other related tasks. Performing preliminary tests on patients before seeing the Doctor Upholding the commitment to make exceptional customer service the top priority Resolving patient complaints in person or via phone Ensuring a clean and professional work environment. Presenting customers with the total charges for services, informing them of available payment options, and processing transactions via cash, bank cards, or insurance. Issuing receipts and change to customers, entering transactions in cash register and ensuring management of daily cash account Maintaining knowledge of clinic inventory and assisting in stocking of office supplies. Performing other duties delegated by the Doctors
