We are seeking a highly organized Optometric Assistant or Optician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, positive, empathetic, detail oriented, neat and enjoys being part of a team player. Specific job training will be provided. Past experience and references required.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
Assist with selection and fitting of eyewear, the ability to make specific lifestyle and fashion recommendations.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
Maintain accurate documentation.
Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the team.
Pretest patients to assist the doctor when needed.
Requirements
Previous experience in the industry
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a busy environment.
