We are looking for someone to work PT or FT as a receptionist/pre-tester. Yes, this does mean you will be giving the dreaded "puff of air" to our patients! The job would go between both of our locations (one is in Sutherland and one is in the Broadway area). The position is flexible for either 3-4 days a week and you must be available on Saturdays.

Our FT hours are 36-40 hours and a 4 day work week where you are working 10 hour shifts (and 6 hour shifts on Saturdays).

Reception experience would be preferred; experience in the industry will also be viewed as an incredible asset

, however we are willing to train the right person if they have never worked in the optical industry before.

What we need you to do:

Check in patients, run through insurance, book appointments, answer phone calls and take payments

Pre-test patients before they see the doctor

Keep the office organized and clean

Be able to troubleshoot independently

Qualifications:

You MUST consider yourself to be a people person!

You need to be able to help patients of all ages and of all backgrounds

Have a positive attitude and mindset

Organization and attention to detail is key so you must be able to multi-task

Be professional yet enthusiastic

Respond well to constructive criticism and be reliable

Hours

We are open Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday from 8am-6pm, Thursdays from 9am-7pm, and Saturdays from 9-3.

We are closed every long weekend.

Compensation:

Starts at $17/hour and will be higher for people with experience in the industry and/or with receptionist experience. We also have bonuses, PTO, as well as health benefits.
