Job description

Looking for a permanent FT/PT Optometric Assistant. Our ideal candidate is an individual who is friendly, professional, flexible, possesses effective oral and written communication skills, and is able to multitask. Prior experience in a medical clinic is not required, and training will be provided to the right candidate. Fluency in Cantonese/Mandarin is an asset. Must be willing to work Saturdays.

Duties would include:

Answering the phones, scheduling and confirming appointments, pre-testing patients, checking patients in and out, assisting the patient with the selection of eyewear, light cleaning, and administrative duties that are required for the clinic to perform day-to-day operations.

Prior customer service experience and the ability to speak Cantonese and/or Mandarin will be an asset.
