Ophthalmic Technician
Job Description
Ophthalmic Technician required for a busy Ophthalmology clinic in Hamilton (Experience Preferred with knowledge in Optometry or Ophthalmology background) but willing to train
. Monday to Friday 8 am-3 pm, increased hours when needed (possible Saturdays if needed)
. Duties to include: patient/clinical involvement (directing patients to exam rooms,
visual acuity check, IOP checking, operating various ophthalmic equipment such as OCT, visual field,
Optos, biometry testing and administering eye drops
. Experience with EMR (specifically ACCURO) an asset
. Able to work in a fast paced environment
. Willing to learn new skills, have a positive attitude, reliability, attention to detail and be a team player

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Hamilton, ON L8H 2V2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
