A good skillset is definitely pertinent but it is equally important to bring in the right attitude that would enhance the cohesive synergy of our Culture. : The Operations Specialist is responsible for overall inbound material management. Reporting to the Manager- Procurement & IC, this role takes a deep dive into the challenges of procurement planning, vendor management, logistics support and reporting. Essential Roles & Responsibilities: - Understand and analyze historical sales data, market trends and other relevant factors as a basis for demand planning - Be able to apply a multitude of forecasting techniques, determine appropriate inventory levels to maintain optimum stock, including considerations for safety stock and various lead times - Continuously review inventory levels, sales data and forecasts to identify deviations and adjust planning as necessary - Assist in inventory optimizations, highlighting when stock levels reach critical levels or closing expiration, liaising with sales team to ensure minimal expiration - Establish strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, regularly reviewing their performance and promptly addressing issues/ concerns - Select and coordinate with transportation providers for scheduling pick up and timely delivery, striving to achieve route efficiency and optimization. - Create accurate and detailed purchased orders and have clear visibility of upcoming shipments - Act as anchor point between supplier, logistics partner and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery fulfillments - Conduct research, assess potential and onboard new logistics, copacker and packaging partners - Support on new product developments, taking the lead for packaging and production execution aspect of the new launch - Establish effective communication channels with all stakeholders, and develop a proactive process of escalation and resolution - Provide regular reports on key metrics, monthly/weekly goals and recommendations Skills & Experience: - Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Maths, Accounting, Finance - 0-2 Years work experience - Proficiency in MS Office applications, with advanced Excel skills - Effective verbal and written communication skills - Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to develop strategic and collaborative relationships. - Self-starter and customer centric - Strong analytical abilities - Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Perks: - Hybrid working environment - Competitive and well-rounded compensation package - Extended health care, including dental and vision care - On-site parking - Casual Dress - Paid time off - Discount and free food Interview Process: It is a two-step interview along with a MS Excel skill test involved and shall be conducted in-person in the corporate head office.
