Summary

We are seeking a motivated Operations Manager / Dispatcher with sales experience to join our team at D&D Dixy Trucking Inc. This role is pivotal in driving sales and building relationships with clients, ensuring that we continue to deliver outstanding service in the transportation industry.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to drive sales growth. Communicate clearly with clients regarding their shipping needs and provide tailored solutions. Analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities within the transportation sector. Collaborate with the D&D Dixy Team to ensure seamless service & delivery for clients. Conduct dispatch related tasks to maintain, track, and provide shipment updates to clients & work schedules to drivers.

Requirements

Proven experience in sales, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette. Ability to analyze data and market trends for strategic decision-making. Familiarity with transportation dispatch is not required but highly desirable (training is provided). Experience with Microsoft Office Software is a plus. Mechanical experience or a Class 1 Drivers License a considered an added bonus for this possition.

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
