Operations Manager – Flat Glass Division

Job Description

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our glass service business, including residential, commercial, and auto glass. This role ensures efficient scheduling, team performance, inventory coordination, and customer satisfaction across multiple locations. The Operations Manager supports field staff, coordinates with internal departments, and plays a key role in achieving revenue goals and maintaining our standards of service excellence.

As a core member of our leadership team, the Operations Manager oversees workflow across departments, manages technician productivity, supports customer service functions, and helps identify process improvements to ensure a smooth, high-quality experience for customers and staff. This is a hands-on role that combines planning with execution, and requires someone who thrives in a fast-moving, multi-location environment.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities



Team Leadership & Development



Supervise, support, and coach technicians, installers, and front office staffEnsure proper onboarding, safety, and performance management Work closely with HR to address any staffing or scheduling issues Provide ongoing feedback and training in coordination with the Technician Performance Manager

Operational Oversight



Track daily job progress and ensure timely completion Review and approve work orders and estimates for accuracy and margin protection Work with the Glass Logistics Coordinator to ensure efficient warehouse and delivery processes and dispatch

Customer Experience & Quality Control



Support the team in handling escalated customer issues Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements where needed Perform site visits or quality checks when necessary Ensure warranty standards are consistently applied

Administrative & Reporting



Assist with budgeting, revenue tracking, and KPI reporting Prepare weekly operational updates for leadership Maintain operational documentation, safety records, and compliance materials

Pay: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
