will assist in overseeing daily operational needs across manpower, equipment, logistics, and coordination. You will work closely with the COO to learn and eventually lead key operational functions, with a clear path toward independently managing project operations. The successful candidate must be comfortable with both field and administrative responsibilities and be capable of supporting and managing various moving parts in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Operational Support & Field Execution
Work closely with the COO to assist in managing and overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple job sites, including excavation, earthmoving, and other construction activities.
Support cross-functional coordination involving project management, safety compliance, mechanical support, and equipment mobilization/demobilization.
Step into field roles when needed, including operating heavy equipment, laboring or hot shotting to support the team.
Manpower, Equipment & Resource Coordination
Coordinate manpower and equipment schedules in collaboration with the Project Managers (PMs), Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), and Site Supervisors.
Monitor field resource needs and proactively address logistical challenges.
Track and manage equipment readiness, maintenance, and utilization.
Administrative & Reporting Support
Maintain accurate tracking tools, reports, and documentation using Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office tools.
Support scheduling, task assignment, and progress monitoring in coordination with field teams.
Safety & Compliance
Support the enforcement of safety standards and participate in site audits.
Assist in delivering and monitoring safety programs.
Must possess or be near completion of
NCSO (National Construction Safety Officer) certification
.
Financial & Resource Management
Collaborate with PMs, CCO, and Site Supervisors on budget tracking and identifying areas for efficiency improvements.
Help monitor project-related costs, resource allocation, and job costing processes.
