We are looking for an Operations Analyst to join our Residential Operations team in Calgary, AB head office. Reporting to the Director, Customer Service, you will have an important role in the effective and compliant operations of Northview\'s residential portfolio, ensuring internal processes are constantly monitored, developed, and improved, as well as providing strategic and data-driven insight to the operations & leadership teams.

What you will do:

Business Analytics:

  • Collaborate with regional/departmental team members and leaders to identify operational challenges
  • Provide data-driven recommendations and insights on current operating procedures and processes
  • Develop dashboards and other visual aids to clearly present \xe2\x80\x9cbig picture\xe2\x80\x9d data and track operational KPIs
  • Continuously improve data collection, cleansing and analysis processes to ensure accurate and relevant reporting
  • Mine and analyze historical data from internal databases to identify patterns and trends relevant to business objectives
  • Initiate action items on new projects & ideas, collaborating with key stakeholders and project leaders
Auditing:
  • Develop and maintain a reporting framework for ensuring compliance with internal operating procedures
  • Audit of move-out charges and process compliance - framework, capturing move out standards & other applicable metrics
  • Audit unit vacancy reports, monitoring & tracking number of days vacant
  • Other/ad-hoc auditing duties as required
Data Analysis:
  • Compile market rent and leasing data, identifying opportunities, and providing insights to support decision making
  • Analysis of traffic sources, leads, marketing platforms and associated costs
  • Analysis of leasing data, including renewal, resident retention, and leasing activity
  • Analysis of customer service-related data, including scorecards
Other Duties:
  • Develop standardized practices for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to ensure reporting consistency and data integrity
  • Support operations in the timely fulfillment of regular and ad hoc data requests, identifying gaps, creating efficiencies, and knowledge sharing
  • Other duties as assigned
What you will bring:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in finance, accounting, or business
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Collaborative, stakeholder-focused
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Yardi an asset
  • SQL knowledge an asset
