We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations within the food service industry. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals while maintaining food safety standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of grilled foods, ensuring that all meals meet quality standards.
Assist in meal preparation by following recipes and portion control guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill area and kitchen workspace.
Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
Help train new kitchen staff on grilling techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required. (2 years minimum)
Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals for customers.
