Job Summary:
Reporting to the General Manager and Kitchen Manager, you will play a critical part in the customer experience by preparing food for our customers and supporting the kitchen function while achieving the highest service and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for preparing ingredients, marinating, grilling, baking, frying, sauteing, and boiling to ensure food is properly cooked;
Ensure quality with food presentation including portion control and garnishing is consistantly achieved;
Prepare orders to required specifications, taking special care of presentation and dietary restrictions;
Maintain a clean, organized, and in compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations (FIFO);
Maintains temperature and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP);
Excellent knowledge of kitchen safety and proper use of knife handling;
Maintains appropriate dating, labeling and rotation of all food items; and
Complete additional work, including cleaning and assisting other team members, stock, rotate and assist with prep work as required.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of cooking in a high volume, and fast paced environment is required;
A minimum age of 16 is required;
Breakfast experience is considered an asset;
Ability to communicate effectively with staff, and management;
Physically able to perform light to medium lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, and walking as well as stand for long periods of time;
