Job Description

Z-Tec Automation Systems is a dynamic and fast-paced company based in Maple Ridge BC, with a casual and friendly office environment. We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical tasks and supporting our office admin team to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform accounts receivable functions including invoicing, processing payments, managing customer accounts, preparing statements Perform accounts payable functions, including vendor invoices, reconciling statements and processing payments Perform clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and document organization. Oversee phone system, and provide backup reception and order processing. Assist with customer support inquiries and provide information when needed. Ordering office supplies and parts, tracking shipments and maintaining our inventory system. Support office staff with various tasks as needed. Liaising with logistics companies and customs brokers for cross-border and international shipments of systems and service parts Managing and maintaining internal processes to ensure admin team is on track Manage inventory and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role. Familiarity with phone systems and handling calls professionally. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Experience with logistics would be an asset to this position
Please Note: This position is a temporary one-year contract, with potential to stay on board after the contract is up.
