We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily operations within our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive office experience, and the ability to manage administrative functions efficiently. This role is vital in ensuring smooth communication, effective team management, and the overall productivity of the office. The Office Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for staff, vendors, and clients, fostering a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
Bookkeeping, payroll processing, Excel and QuickBooks and Sage management to ensure accurate financial records
Handle human resources functions such as onboarding, training & development, and employee relations
Maintain filing systems and ensure document organization for easy retrieval
Operate multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette
Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and office supply procurement
Oversee office policies, procedures, and compliance standards
Support event planning and coordinate meetings or training sessions
Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient office environment
Skills
Proficiency in Sage, QuickBooks, bookkeeping, payroll, and general office software
Extensive office experience including clerical and administrative functions
Excellent communication skills--both verbal and written--along with professional phone etiquette
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Competency in budgeting and financial oversight
Demonstrated ability to foster a positive work environment through effective human resources practices
