Office assistant / Secretary / Receptionist position available



Classic Tool and Die is looking for an experienced secretary for full time employment

PLEASE NOTE:

Terms of Employment: Contract leading to full time

Location: Tecumseh / Oldcastle, Ontario

Job type: Permanent 35-40 hours / 5 days per week full time.

Wage: based on experience and abilities

Essential skills required:

Must have experience with Sage 50 accounting software (3 years minimum)

Must have basic business accounting knowledge (AR, AP, Payroll, G/L etc.)

Software - Sage 50, Microsoft - Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook

Excellent English communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

You are self-directed; demonstrate competence in office administration duties and the ability to work in a confidential, detail-oriented environment.

Must have excellent English proof reading and grammatical skills.

An asset to this position: Financial Manufacturing duties.

Task (not limited to):

Prepare shippers, purchase orders, invoices and customs documents. Schedule and confirm appointments; Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas; Determine and establish office procedures and routines; Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages; Answer electronic enquiries; Order supplies; Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations; maintain manual and computerized information filing systems; All aspects of utilizing Sage 50 software - Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Payroll, G/L

All aspects of border crossing paperwork and other requirements

Purchasing / ordering general items

Basic Logistics

The most important prerequisites of this job are:

#1 an employee who takes pride in their work and eager to learn.

#2 an organized employee who can take on multiple tasks and complete them independently. Self-sufficiency is a must.

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
