Surrey CPA Accounting Firm is seeking a part time Office assistant/Bookkeeper.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Bookkeeping (QuickBooks, Sage, CaseWare)
- Payroll
- Handling front desk duties including answering phone calls and greeting clients
- All other general administrative duties as required
Our ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping and preparing tax returns, front desk and/or administrative experience, preferably in a professional office setting (previous accounting firm experience is an asset). Ability to learn new computer software, good typing skills, ability to communicate effectively, ability to multi task and strong time management and organizational skills.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
Experience:
Sage 50 Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
