Position Overview



We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented

Office & Accounting Assistant

to support our day-to-day office operations at our Richmond Hill, Ontario location. This role will be performed on-site and involves a mix of front desk reception, administrative support, and light accounting tasks. If you're organized, proactive, and willing to learn, this is a great opportunity to contribute to a growing and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities



Office Administrative



Greet customers, answer incoming phone calls, and respond to emails in a professional manner. Schedule customer appointments and installations using the shared calendar. Assist the sales team by gathering client information, including contact and billing information, and sending estimates. Perform general office tasks such as printing, scanning, filing, and sorting mail/packages. Track all warranty claims, return packages and maintain detailed records in a spreadsheet for management review. Keep the office organized and tidy, including decluttering workspaces and organizing documents.

Light Accounting & Data Entry



Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable. Reconcile incoming and outgoing payments with the correct accounts and invoices. Support data entry and basic bookkeeping tasks, ideally using QuickBooks. Help manage inventory records to ensure quantities and values match accounting records and provide reconciliation reports to management regularly.

Requirements



2+ years of experience as an office, administrative, or bookkeeping assistant. Completion of Secondary School. Post-secondary completion in Business, Management, or Accounting is preferred. Strong attention to detail - able to pick out and prevent common mistakes in the office. Strong communication skills - both verbal and written. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel. Proficiency with Google Suite, especially Google Drive and Google Calendar. Knowledge of or passion for the automotive or outdoor industry is an asset.

Compensation & Benefits



$21-24 per hour. 90-day probation period. Two weeks paid vacation per year (after probation).

Working Hours



On-site. Full-time, 30 to 35 hours per week (can be discussed).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
