You will work as part of a team of problem solvers and develop technical skills in complex accounting, treasury, risk management, capital market products and regulatory requirements.Meaningful work you\xe2\x80\x99ll be part ofAs a Financial Risk Management Treasury and Accounting Senior Associate, you\'ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Evaluate, develop or advise on risk management frameworks, policies, procedures, controls, tools and solutions for all key financial risks and non-financial risksLead audit support assignments for key clients in complex areas, such as hedging, debt and capital transactions and derivative transactionsExecute consulting assignments relating to treasury and risk management strategies, organizational leading practices and treasury process improvements (design and implementation)Provide accounting advice related to IFRS and US GAAP, including but not limited to hedge accounting and complex financial instrumentsTreasury and risk management control framework design and implementation (including support of our clients\xe2\x80\x99 internal audit on treasury projects)Participate in business development and marketing our treasury and risk management capabilities in Canada, including but not limited to writing proposals, reports and delivering presentations.Experiences and skills you will use to solveConsiderable experience with IFRS and/or US GAAPKnowledge of financial markets, capital market products and derivativesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced analytical, problem-solving and multitasking/ project management skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentExcellent oral and written communication skillsExperience in risk management, treasury, financial services and/or regulatory compliance is a plusProficiency in treasury management systems and financial software is a plusCPA, CFA or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance or Accounting is a plusPwC Canada is committed to cultivating an inclusive, hybrid work environment.
