Job Summary


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and have a background in supervising staff and managing office operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office, overseeing daily activities, and providing support to various departments.

Responsibilities



Handle front desk operations, including greeting visitors and managing multi-line phone systems. Prepare and submit a daily employee billing summary for approval Summarize weekly invoicing Record employee timecards Place walk-in sales into the financial program (Quickbooks) Maintain a filing system Organize ICBC changes Maintain and manage the reception desk by ensuring all incoming calls, emails, mail and packages are redirected to the appropriate representative Book and take customer orders while communicating with Operations Manager/Controller of any changes Communicating Safety poliie's and procedures, update and communicate changes with safety representative

Skills



Proficiency in QuickBooks for financial management tasks. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong computer skills. Ability to work under pressure, to vary between tasks efficiently and meet deadlines. Highly organized, strong attention to detail, self-starter and strong problem-solving skills. Solid front desk experience with excellent phone etiquette. Proven experience as an office administrator, assistant or relevant role. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff and clients. Familiarity with clerical duties and administrative processes in an office setting.

Payroll: Bi-weekly, two week period starting from a Sunday ending in a Saturday Vacation Pay: Paid on each check or banked after 1 month of employment. Banked must be taken within a physical year. Benefits: Coverage provided after probationary period of 3-months Statutory Holiday Pay: If worked or earned wages for 15 of the 30 calendar days preceding the statutory holiday
Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $17.85-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
