Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with/managing the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring efficient administrative processes, and providing support in various accounting functions. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping practices. We are also looking for some assistance with our safety program, so experience in this field is also highly beneficial.

Responsibilities



Help manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections. Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records. Safety / safety program experience is an asset. Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Utilize accounting software (Sage) for bookkeeping tasks. Conduct account analysis and budgeting to support financial planning activities. Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and reporting purposes. Provide administrative support to other departments as needed, including scheduling meetings and managing office supplies. Collaborate with team members to improve office efficiency and streamline processes.

Qualifications



Proven experience as an Office Administrator or in a similar administrative role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting. Proficiency in Sage, Microsoft Office, Excel is highly desirable. Safety program building/management is also an asset. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial analysis is a plus.
