Position and Duties:



Reporting directly to the Executive Director, of the Office Administrator will support the regular administrative functions of the organization, with a primary focus on bookkeeping within Quick
Books Online (QBO).

Salary:



The salary range for the position is $48,180-$52,151, subject to all statutory and other deductions, and which is payable bi-weekly by direct deposit, in accordance with the Employer's payroll policy. The base salary shall be reviewed annually and will include, in part, an assessment of your achievement of the over-all objectives established by the employer and the employer's financial resources.

The normal hours of work will be Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., including a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Due to the nature of the organization, some flexibility to adjust the normal hours of work involved in the performance of the duties and responsibilities may be required to meet the objectives of the position.

Responsibilities:



Specific duties and responsibilities include:

Perform general office administrative tasks, including filing, organizing, correspondence, etc. Manage vendor profiles in QBO. Post account payables to QBO. Post account receivables to QBO and Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports. Manage the gift card donations, including entering them into QBO, and ensuring they are debited once used. Coordinate service delivery with vendors. Manage donation inventories for Hestia House. Support house operations, and fundraising activities as needed. Maintain office supplies inventory. Coordinate purchase of goods, including bedding, furniture, etc. Other duties as required.

Qualifications:



1-2 years experience in office administration and bookkeeping. Proficiency in Quickbooks online is preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Effective English written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of other languages, including French, considered an asset. Current standard first aid and CPR certification. Be a team player.

Compensation and benefits:



Salary range is from $$48,180-$52,151/year. Fifteen paid vacation days annually.
