Cambridge Cardiac Care Centre is a full-service non-invasive cardiology centre focused on prevention of cardiovascular illnesses, early & accurate diagnosis of cardiovascular risk & disease, as well as thorough & complete cardiovascular therapy & rehabilitation. Our expert staff will provide you on site counseling & education to help you heal yourself. Our state of the art cardiac testing facility will provide you with rapid & complete non-invasive on site cardiac investigations. Through our focus on life style change & cardiac rehabilitation, we will work with you to develop a comprehensive plan to help protect you from cardiovascular illness or recover from it should it pre-exist.

Major Duties and Responsibilities: Medical Office Administrator



Greeting & arriving patients.

Booking and confirming appointments.

Instructing patients on different tests.

Answering Phones on a multi-line phone system

Computer proficiency

Maintain accurate and concise documentation of patient encounters in a timely manner.

Working knowledge of medical clinic / cardiology testing

Working in a team environment

Must be willing to work weekends.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications



Must be a Graduate of a

Medical Office Administration

program from an accredited college. New graduates will be considered.

This is an

ENTRY LEVEL

position.

Proficiency in computer scheduling, software & prior experience with EMR (electronic medical record)

Fluent in Medical terminology (certification preferred)

Knowledge of Cardiac terminology and experience working with Cardiac patients

CPR and First Aid certification Required; Must be up-to-date with COVID vaccinations

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), telephone communication skills, and customer service skills essential

Able to perform well with minimal supervision

Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, while demonstrating excellent customer service skills

Must be able to prioritize workload and function independently in a busy environment

Must be able to respond appropriately to emergency situations

Must be able to diplomatically respond to patient requests in a busy environment

Demonstrate public relations skills and the ability to diplomatically respond to physician, staff, and family inquiries in a demanding work environment.

Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis is required

Currently living in Waterloo Region or within 30min drive



Must have a reliable vehicle to get to and from work.



Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.50-$22.00 per hour
