Position Overview
The Office Administrator and safety coordinator will be the backbone of our day-to-day operations. This position will be responsible for handling administrative tasks, supporting the safety program, coordinating field staff, and ensuring our office runs efficiently. This is a role that requires excellent multitasking skills, attention to detail, and a positive, proactive attitude.
Pay will be reflected in experience and credentials.
Key Responsibilities
Support the safety program; managing documentation and replenishing safety supplies.
Coordinate manpower scheduling and assignments for job sites
Manage daily office operations, including phones, email, mail, and filing
Onboard new employees
Coordinate vendor communications and order materials/office supplies as needed
Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and tracking expenses
Foster a professional and friendly office environment
Qualifications
2+ years of office management/administrative/safety experience preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of Alberta OHS regulations
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
