Job Description

Island Optimal is seeking a fun, caring and experienced individual to join our office administration team. The successful candidate will have the ability to connect with and care for our patients while managing front desk responsibilities. Duties include taking phone calls, scheduling/booking, billing, invoicing, handling of patient records, occasional inventory sales, light cleaning, prioritization of patient care needs, answering general inquiries about our services, and other administration and computer work. Experience working in a medical clinic is considered a strong asset. This job requires the ability to prioritize based on new information and constant multitasking to keep the office running efficiently.

This is a full time position (Monday-Thursday) at our two locations on Rutherford Road and Dufferin Crescent. Our ideal candidate would be proficient in Google Workspace, comfortable with technology, and able to maintain patients' confidentiality at all times. Knowledge of Jane App and prior medical office experience is considered a strong asset. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is extremely organized, capable of coping with change, and who is excited about learning and growing. The individual must be self-motivated and thrive in a team setting. The candidate must be able to work additional shifts based on reception needs, including evening shifts.

The successful candidate will receive extensive training to succeed and master the job.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
