Job Description

Join our team as the Office Administrator and contribute to the smooth delivery of solar projects. Working out of our office in SE Calgary, you'll provide reception, accounting, and administrative support to our solar installation business. Responsibilities:



Job functions include but are not limited to:

Handle reception duties including answering phone calls, managing inquiries, and greeting visitors

Manage physical and electronic filing systems ensuring documents are organized and easily accessible

Utilize QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, and financial reporting

Procure materials and supplies

Provide administrative support to all departments such as arranging of permits and inspections

Coordinate shipping pick-ups and deliveries

Qualifications:



Post-secondary education in relevant field

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, email, and internet applications

Knowledge of general accounting principles

Experience using QuickBooks Online

Skills:



Ability to work independently and manage tasks without direct supervision

Strong verbal and written communications skills in English

Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks

Experience:



Previous experience in various aspects of small business administration

Familiarity with operations within a construction contracting business

Personal Characteristics
