: Kitchen Helper

LOCATION

: Catholic Central Secondary School

SALARY

: $22 per hour

Reporting to the Principal, we are seeking a part-time kitchen helper to fill a vacancy. This position will work four hours per day at $22 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of food, including chopping vegetables, preparing salads and other duties as directed. Working with the culinary teacher and co-op students. Help serve food to students and staff during lunch periods. Maintain a friendly and positive attitude while interacting with the school community. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, and serving areas. This includes washing dishes, wiping down counters, and sweeping floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment. Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries, ensuring all items are properly labeled and put away. Help monitor and restock supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

Food Handler Certification Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
