Job Description

Position: Network Administrator Team Lead
Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer
Professional certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP, CCIE).Solid background in network administration and architecture. In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. SPB, BGP, OSPF). Familiarity with access control models and network security. Knowledge of high availability and redundant architecture design.
Basic knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g. Python). Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools. Solid understanding of network operating systems, sharp troubleshooting skills. Understanding of Zero trust architecture and hyper-segmentation. Familiarity with posture and compliance assessments and remediation. Familiarity with SOC1 & SOC2
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Organizational and mentoring skills
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
Responsibilities:

  • Minimum of 7 years network industry experience
  • Knowledge of Azure networking (NSG, virtual networks, etc)
  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP stack -
  • Extensive knowledge of Cisco's and Extreme Networks switches, routers and load balancing equipment configuration and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of SPB (Extreme Fabric), BGP, OSPF and EIGRP routing protocols[ST1]
  • Knowledge of CPE MPLS configurationAbility to manage Linux servers (CENTOS, DEBIAN, UBUNTU, FEDORA)
  • Experience with vulnerability management
  • Wireless Network design and troubleshooting.
  • Checkpoint Security Gateway experience
  • Strong Knowledge of router and firewall terminated VPN configuration and monitoring.
  • Cisco ASA experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of network routers, switches and firewall
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMWARE, HYPER-V, KVM)
  • Requires strong knowledge of WAN communications hardware and software and network management software
  • Enterprise data center experience preferred
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented and meticulous individual, who can adhere to departmental process and procedures and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to multi-task and manage changing priorities to meet demands of internal and external customers
  • Demonstrate ability to contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork through collaborative behavior and open communications
  • Ability to define and/or refine processes to benefit the team and customers
  • Excellent analytical, communication (verbal and writing) skills; process-oriented
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of packet sniffers/tcpdump and ability to dissect packet captures.

  • Checkpoint firewalls.
  • Strong fundamentals in networking (TCP/IP, Routing/Switching).
  • Experience with SOC1 & SOC2
  • Experience with vulnerability management and compliance
  • Knowledge of Agile/mobility technology (mobile access).
  • Linux experience
  • Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies.
  • Familiarity with storage technologies (V-SAN, SAN, NAS and backup technologies).
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent conflict management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to create a culture of collaboration among colleagues and other team members at all departmental levels
  • Leadership skills to motivate all staff members
  • Knowledge of performance evaluations
