In this role you will be responsible for prospecting for new opportunities, developing business plans outlining focus within key verticals and geographic territories. You will also be accountable for formulating strategies for building customer relationships, developing, maintaining, and implementing account plans for maximizing the value of our accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Play an active "hunting role" in the pursuit of new opportunities in the Financial vertical while maintain / grow existing client relationships and large business portfolios
Develop value-added solutions to customer issues, focus on long-term partnerships, taking a proactive, consultative approach with customers
Oversee proposal development and response to RFPs and RFIs
Develop Scope of Work documents and assist in costing and pricing development
Assist in costing and pricing development
Systematically build relationships in all areas of customer's organization,
Provide direction for involvement of TForce Logistics senior management and field management with customers.
Perform QBR's and act on any growth opportunities
Respond to customer needs and develop a methodical overview and solution for problems
Work closely with the Customer Integration Manager and various cross functional departments to seamlessly on-board new customer opportunities
Qualifications:
Post secondary education in sales, (or business related degree/diploma)
3-5 years experience in national account sales role function
Background in transportation, logistics, distribution, or outsourcing industries
Background selling to financial institutions is an asset
Experience responding to requests for proposals and making business presentations, establishing & maintaining strong relationships
Ability to use office productivity tools (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite & CRM applications).
Demonstrated good judgment, strong planning and negotiation skills.
Strong communications skills.
Ability to travel
