Job Overview:

As a Bartender / Server at MRMIKES Steakhouse Casual, you will play a key role in providing our guests with an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include:

Greeting and seating guests in a friendly and efficient manner. Taking accurate food and drink orders and entering them into the POS system. Delivering food and beverages to guests promptly. Ensuring guests have everything they need and addressing any concerns or special requests. Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including tables and service stations. Mix and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy and flair Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive service to all guests Guide guests through food and beverage menus to enhance their dining experience Handle cash, credit card, and POS transactions accurately Maintain a clean, organized bar and service area Assist the serving team on the floor when needed Check IDs and ensure responsible alcohol service according to provincial regulations Help create a fun, welcoming, and energetic atmosphere for guests and team members

What We're Looking For

Previous bartending and/or serving experience required Excellent communication and multitasking skills Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine (we'll train you on MR MIKES favourites too!) Outgoing personality with a passion for hospitality Ability to stay calm and focused during busy shifts Serving It Right certification required Team player willing to jump in and help wherever needed Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
