Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to supporting our culinary staff and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
Sort and stack clean dishes in designated areas for easy access.
Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors and surfaces.
Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, contributing to overall kitchen efficiency.
Help with the organization of kitchen supplies and inventory management.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Experience
Previous experience in food handling or kitchen environments is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with food preparation and service in a restaurant or hospitality setting is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
