We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented mid-senior level

NX Mold Designer

to join our innovative manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings, schematics, and 3D models to support manufacturing and machining processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of complex mechanical components and systems using advanced CAD tools and manufacturing techniques. The Designer will collaborate closely with engineers, machinists, and production staff to ensure designs are feasible, accurate, and optimized for manufacturing.

Duties

Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other CAD software. Create schematics and technical documentation for mechanical components and assemblies. Design parts suitable for CNC machining, including CNC lathe, CNC milling machine, and other manufacturing equipment. Program CNC machines utilizing CNC programming skills to ensure accurate fabrication of parts. Assist in selecting appropriate hand tools, calipers, and welding equipment for assembly and fabrication tasks. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to review designs for manufacturability, efficiency, and quality standards. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and math calculations necessary for precise machining and assembly. Support prototype development through machining, welding, assembly, and testing of mechanical parts. Maintain detailed records of design revisions, machining instructions, and quality control documentation.

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
