Middle-High School Livestream/Online Art Teacher

We are seeking a talented Art Livestream / Online teacher to join our team. Teachers will guide learners through the Ministry of Education expectations, providing formative assessment throughout.

The available position is part-time at approximately 0.025 FTE and may be combined with other posted positions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A teacher who is certified by the B.C. Teacher Regulation Branch or the Office of the Inspector of Independent Schools. A teacher who is able to attend onsite training three times per year in the Lower Mainland and/or Vancouver Island areas of B.C. The successful candidate must agree to our statement of faith.

EXPERIENCE:
Experience and education related to working with students in online learning, competency-based assessment, and project-based learning is helpful but not necessary.

Enjoys the opportunity to teach students who are in an online learning or homeschooling program

Loves mentoring teens and is passionate about fostering a creative group learning environment

Strives to be an ambassador for Christ.

Understands the dynamics of online learning

Collaborative team member who partners well with colleagues, parents, and support staff

Comfortable with online learning management systems.
