- We have been running a Canadian-certified high-school program in China for the last 17 years since 2005. This program is fully authorized by the British Columbia Ministry of Education (BCMOE), which is a province on the west-coast of Canada. We have graduated 14 classes of students, most of whom went to North America for university studies. Our target enrollment stands at about 150, with 2 Grade-10, 2 Grade-11 and 2 Grade-12 classes (with an average class size of no more than 25).
- Currently, we have openings for a principal position and for teachers for 2023-2024 school year to teach in China (now that China has gradually opened up).
- We are located in Tongxiang of Zhejiang province, which is about \xc2\xbd-hour train ride from Shanghai. So, it gives the Canadian staff the tranquility of life during weekdays and yet they are only \xc2\xbd-hour train ride away from one of the busiest cities in the world.
- The normal work load is about 25 hours per week.
- We aim at loading our teachers with courses in accordance with their background, interest and experience. This is handled by our principal and our superintendent.
- Our standard compensation package consists of:
apartment nearby the School, (c) return airfare, (d) medical/health insurance on a 50-50 basis, (e) paying for fees relating to work visa, foreign expert certificate, etc.
- In China, we have 3 full-time support staff, who are tasked to provide infrastructure support to our Canadian staff (in terms of settlement, orientation, and daily operations). They are very experienced in assisting western staff.
