Ace Acumen High School is a Languages Canada accredited designated learning institution (DLI), a private international institution located in Toronto, Ontario. Our school provides a safe, nurturing and diverse environment and we are committed to uphold our values and to ensure that the academic and social needs of our students are achieved.We are seeking a HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER for the upcoming semester.The successful candidate will be teaching, part-time, online night class Monday through Friday, in the subjects: Career Studies and Civics and Citizenship (GLC20 and CHV20).Qualifications:

• Preferred to have OCT or equivalent teaching experience in the field

• Have knowledge of Ministry Curriculum Guidelines

• Experience with ESL students is an asset

• Prepare subject material for presentation according to an approved curriculum, assign, and correct homework

• Prepare and collect materials and teaching evidence according to Ministry of Education

• Possess skills of motivating quality learning and resources in a current rapidly changing learning environment

• Must possess great communication and thinking skills

• Evaluate student assignments, projects, tests, and other forms of evaluation, and discuss results with students

• Assess student progress on a regular basis and provide motivating comments and constructive feedback to students on all work that is submitted

• Maintain records of student evaluations and assessment

• Ability to meet a tight deadline for marking & mark submission with a high level of accuracy

• Participate in professional development activities as scheduled
