Merchandising & Vendor Operations Data Associate

, where you'll play a key role in coordinating product data, managing vendor relationships, and supporting cross-functional teams across e-commerce and retail channels. We welcome applicants with experience in similar roles such as Merchandising Coordinator, Vendor Data Coordinator, Vendor Data Analyst, Product Data Coordinator, Master Data Coordinator, Product Data Specialist, and Data Technician.

This is a

hybrid position

, with a combination of remote and in-office work.

In-person presence is required more frequently during key seasonal periods.

Flexibility and collaboration are key to success in this role.

What You'll Do



Vendor Management



Act as the primary contact for vendors regarding orders, deliveries, and product updates. Oversee vendor onboarding and maintain accurate records. Monitor vendor performance and apply chargebacks when necessary. Support invoice reconciliation and resolve billing/shipping issues.

Merchandising Operations



Coordinating product setup and updates in ERP and merchandising systems, including SKUs, pricing, descriptions, and attributes. Managing product data and imagery to ensure consistency and compliance with brand standards across platforms. Optimizing product listings for search engine visibility to support e-commerce performance. Supporting product launches by preparing item lists, line sheets, and vendor submissions. Preparing product setups for distribution across our website, retail stores, and third-party vendors. Ensuring promotional and marketing readiness by confirming product data, images, and vendor approvals. Collaborating with marketing to recommend products that align with campaign goals and audience insights. Verifying purchase orders for accuracy and ensuring vendor compliance with related requirements. Working with planning teams to align inventory levels, delivery schedules, and store allocations. Assisting with planogram and visual merchandising documentation to ensure proper product representation. Managing the on-site Merchandising Studio for product staging and sample tracking. Preparing merchandising and sales reports, highlighting key metrics such as sell-through, availability, and vendor compliance.

Reporting & Analysis



Maintain trackers for product and vendor submissions. Generate weekly/monthly reports on vendor status and product performance. Conduct competitive analysis on pricing, promotions, and assortment trends.

Industry Engagement



Attend trade shows to stay informed on market trends and vendor offerings.

What You Bring



Post-secondary education in a related field. 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, logistics, and finance. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Automate; Microsoft Dynamics is an asset. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and SEO best practices. Experience using generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to enhance productivity. Background in visual merchandising preferred. Head office retail experience is an asset.

Pay: $42,000.00-$51,000.00 per year
