Melfort Fair 2024
Job Description
Be a gate ticket seller or a ticket taker (for wristbands) during the 2024 Melfort Fair. We are excited to host this fair to the Melfort & area community again this year and are hoping for nice weather! Come help us put on a fantastic event & make some money too! Work days are July 19th, 20th, and 21st, with orientation during the afternoon or evening of July 18th. Shift lengths from 4 hours to all-day (open-to-close).
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 days
Pay: $14.00-$15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends only
- Melfort, SK S0E1A0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- Can you quickly & easily count money & make change?
- Our gate workers are the first impression for visitors to the fair, and should be friendly & courteous. Are you comfortable communicating with the general public in this way?
