DescriptionThe Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach Fall 2024 MKTG 341 LEC 01 (Introduction to Marketing) on Fridays from 11:00-13:45. Classes in the Fall 2024 semester run from from September 3, 2024, to December 6, 2024. Registrar Scheduled Exams will take place between December 9, 2024 to December 19, 2024, if applicable.MKTG 341 (Introduction to Marketing)
LEC 01 Fridays 11:00-13:45The calendar description of the course:\xe2\x80\x9cAn introductory marketing course designed for non-Management students to introduce the broad principles and practices of marketing from both an organizational and societal perspective. Topics will cover basic marketing concepts, societal issues, and the decision process of marketers in developing, pricing, promoting and distributing their products.\xe2\x80\x9dQualifications

• MBA degree or equivalent and work experience in the field are desirable.
• Previous post secondary teaching experience is a requirement.
• Experience in programs such as Zoom, D2L and other digital education products would be an asset.
