DescriptionThe Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach Fall 2024 MKTG 317 LEC 02 (Foundations of Marketing) on Tuesdays from 18:30-21:15. Classes in the Fall 2024 semester run from from September 3, 2024, to December 6, 2024. Registrar Scheduled Exams will take place between December 9, 2024 to December 19, 2024, if applicable.MKTG 317 (Foundations of Marketing)
LEC 02 Tuesdays 18:30-21:15The calendar description of the course:\xe2\x80\x9cAn introductory marketing course designed for management students to introduce the principles and practices of marketing. Topics will cover basic marketing concepts, societal issues, and the decision-making process of marketers in developing marketing strategies and plans. The focus of the course will be on the implementation of specific product, pricing, distribution and communication strategies for specific market situations\xe2\x80\x9dQualifications

• MBA degree or equivalent and work experience in the field are desirable.
• Previous post secondary teaching experience is a requirement.
• Preference will be given to applicants who have experience working in a coordinated multi-section course.
• Experience in programs such as Zoom, D2L and other digital education products would be an asset.
