DescriptionThe Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach Fall 2024 BTMA 601 LEC 02. The lecture sessions would be one-half day on either Friday or Saturday, every second week, from August 23, 2024, to November 30, 2024. Registrar Scheduled Exams will take place between December 9, 2024, to December 19, if applicable.MKTG 435 (Marketing Communications)
LEC 01 Wednesday 14:00-16:45The calendar description of the course:\xe2\x80\x9cThe fundamentals of how to use information technology (IT) innovatively to create competitive firms, to manage global interdependencies, and to provide and support quality products and services efficiently and effectively. Topics covered include trends in IT and how they may affect organizations, how organizations and the value chain can be redesigned using IT to encourage and facilitate better performance, how the Internet and electronic commerce impact organizations and markets, how IT-based platforms drive the network economy.\xe2\x80\x9dQualifications

  • A graduate degree (MBA, MSc, DBA, or PhD) and work experience in a relevant field is required.
  • Prior post-secondary teaching experience is required
  • Previous experience teaching this course is an asset
