Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operation of our billing staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of medical billing procedures, and the ability to manage staff and projects effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring that our office runs smoothly while providing exceptional client care. We are looking for a proactive team member to suggest areas of improvement with the opportunity to grow with the team.

Duties

Lead and manage operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Manage and support a team of billing professionals. Collaborate directly with team. Establish and monitor staff performance metrics. Provide client service excellence and relationship management. Medical Billing for ENT and other sub-specialties as required. Communicate new business opportunities. Report regularly to the executive team.

Requirements

8+ years of proven experience in a medical billing is required. Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and acute care practices. Previous supervisory experience in an office environment is essential. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, staff, and healthcare providers. Background in medical billing within a healthcare context is preferred. A nursing background or related healthcare experience will be considered an asset.
