Our organization is experiencing rapid growth, and we are looking for a skilled and dedicated part-time Medical Office Assistant to help manage daily operations. This position offers a hybrid work model with 1- 2 days working from home, a combination of administrative duties in the office and occasional visits to long-term care facilities to ensure company standards are maintained.
Responsibilities
Provide general administrative support in the office, including answering calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records.
Set up and take down treatment rooms to prepare for patient care.
Visit long-term care facilities to monitor and uphold company standards.
Work closely with patients, families, staff, and healthcare providers to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in a medical office setting.
In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, disease processes, and hospital information systems.
Familiarity with insurance companies, including account setups and claims.
Previous experience working in a Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, or Podiatry office is an asset.
Comfortable using online booking platforms such as Jane or Noterro.
Proficiency in Google Docs
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Polished communication skills that reflect a courteous, respectful, and client-focused approach in every interaction
Exceptional troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain a long-term vision.
