The Disability Management Associate role is an important resource to Organizational Solutions Inc. staff. The successful candidate will be trained and mentored in: administrative claims / case management; training initiatives; proactive reporting and planning; claim review, support, and key performance metrics monitoring. The Disability Management Associate role is responsible for the performance of administrative duties and managing day-to-day disability claims. You are responsible for assisting employees, and communicating with stakeholders in a professional manner on their behalf, in order to return individuals to work. You will be expected to support the organization in managing day-to-day administrative responsibilities and reports. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Maintenance and development of practices and procedures for internal claims and disability management services \xc2\xb7 Prepares reports and agendas \xc2\xb7 Case Manager Administrative Tasks - Complete specified administrative tasks on all cases (eg. Faxing, forms preparation, employee follow-ups) \xc2\xb7 Assist with any / other administrative duties, as requested \xc2\xb7 Bilingual ( French/English) is an asset but not required Minimum Required Skills and Experience: Relevant Education or Continuing Education in Health / Sciences, such as: Medical training, Medical Terminology, Occupational Health, Disability Management, or Paralegal continuous education \xc2\xb7 Critical thinking skills, analytical reasoning \xc2\xb7 High sense of urgency and prioritization skills \xc2\xb7 Excellent customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal) \xc2\xb7 Able to work as a key member of a team as well as independently. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work within set procedure and policy to ensure the privacy protocols and standard operating procedures are adhered to at all times \xc2\xb7 Strong proficiency and skills in the Microsoft Office Suites \xc2\xb7 Office environment \xc2\xb7 Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time \xc2\xb7 Occasional travel to client locations, when needed Reporting Relationship: \xc2\xb7 Accountable for Assigned Team Lead \xc2\xb7 Self-managed company, accountable to KPM\xe2\x80\x99s and goals If this position interest you please apply!
