We are seeking compassionate and dedicated math tutors to provide tailored support to children with learning disabilities in mathematics. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various learning challenges, strong mathematical proficiency, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs. As a math tutor, you will play a crucial role in helping students build confidence, overcome obstacles, and achieve academic success in mathematics. You will work one-on-one with children and youth , helping them improve their numeracy skills. Our multisensory approach engages all senses - visual, auditory, tactile, and kinesthetic - ensuring a holistic learning experience for individuals with reading difficulties or disabilities.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education
Demonstrated experience and additional skills will also be considered.
Previous tutoring experience is a plus.
Successful completion of child and adult registry checks prior to tutoring is mandatory.
Part-time and full-time positions available. 15 - 30 hours per week.
