Agilus is looking for Junior/Intermediate Material Engineer for their client in Oil and Gas sector in Fort McMurray for a contract until Dec 2024.

A typical day:

RBI Engineer updating equipment strategies for fixed equipment.
/li
li
Evaluate damage mechanisms based on process conditions and inspection history to determine probability of failure and provide recommended mitigating actions.
/li
li
Equipment strategies are a multi-discipline approach, so interaction with inspections personnel, mechanical engineering, operations and process technical will be required.
/li

Successful candidates will have:

Undergraduate degree in Materials or Mechanical Engineering with 2-5 years work experience.

Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training status from APEGA.
/li
li
Manages own time and can address numerous issues simultaneously.
/li
li
Interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
/li
li
Knowledge of applicable Codes, Standards and Regulatory requirements is an asset.
/li
