Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for providing direction, guidance and leadership while managing the day-to-day execution of our marketing campaigns and ensuring that all marketing activities are in line with our company\xe2\x80\x99s mission of creating positive shareable experiences.

Within this role you will be counted on to maintain and bolster iconic brands like The Porch, Rock \xe2\x80\x98N\xe2\x80\x99 Horse Saloon, Par-tee Putt, the Queen Elizabeth Theatre (Toronto), Vogue Theatre (Vancouver) and more.

The Role

  • Lead, coach and mentor a team of dedicated marketers

  • Lead the development and rollout of brand marketing strategies

  • Evaluate market trends to develop new marketing strategies

  • Create department goals, delegate project tasks and train new marketing employees

  • Monitor business activities and track key performance indicators

  • Identify opportunities, allocate marketing budgets, refine marketing processes and remove roadblocks to efficiency and success

  • Keeps management informed by preparing reports, preparing presentations, interpreting information, and making recommendations.

  • Negotiates contracts for advertising, marketing, and promotions

  • Ensure that proper systems are in place to measure business performance against marketing inputs

  • Manage and enhance relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Coordinate various ad campaigns, events and other related activities

  • Up to 10% travel time required within Canada

  • Other responsibilities as assigned


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar role/capacity

  • Agency experience preferred

  • Experience leading a team and excellent communication skills

  • Experience within the Hospitality or Experience Industry considered an asset

  • Process oriented with strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • High competency in project and stakeholder management

  • Problem solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud considered an asset


Terms & Expectations

  • Due to the nature of the work, after hours correspondence may be required

  • Available evenings and/or weekends, as required
