Marketing Operations Manger will be responsible for all the operational aspects of OCI MSG Marketing. There will be three key portions of the role.

  • Manage and oversee tradeshow activity (via a direct report), and coordinate all vendor relationships, major projects on booth updates & collateral updates. Process management and process optimization for show activity. Tenders and RFPs as required.

  • Manage marketing communication for Olympus Canada. This includes internal and external communication strategy, connection to OCA MarCom group and also working with digital and media strategy group in US to coordinate and strategize on Canada digital strategy, OMNI channel strategy, website updates, etc.

  • Project manage large marketing project/product roll outs. Work collaboratively with product marketing as well as across all the key Operations functions: Contracts, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Customer Service.

  • Product Life Cycle Management with the product marketing team. Manage product demo utilization, sell off, product back-orders and communication. Work closely with the Management/Demand and Supply team to review strategies for effective communication with the field.

  • Other Marketing related projects as assigned.


Job Duties


  • Directly manages specific projects as assigned.

  • Responsibility includes working with department head, Marketing leaders, OCA team members and subject matter experts to define project scope structure work plan and timeline using established tools and executing on the agreed upon plan.

  • Liaises with senior management to ensure the necessary buy-in support and approval prior to initiating a project and to maintain a high level of engagement and resource availability throughout; Reviews and comments as appropriate on other departmental analyses and projects.

  • As necessary and as requested provides direction regarding discrete aspects of other projects to improve team\'s ability to produce reports presentations spreadsheets and other analyses from these assignments.

  • Coordinates with department head to refine project management infrastructure within the department as well as roadmap for expanding use of tools and templates outside of the group.

  • Analyses the performance of special projects assigned by business leadership and review ongoing projects with the appropriate members of senior management and other key stakeholders.

  • Coordinates with subject matter experts to develop on-point training materials and documentation when appropriate as part of project plan.

  • Identifies opportunities and proactively proposes projects to improve business systems processes and practices by analysing existing business processes and determining methods to implement new solutions.

  • Summarizes project execution lessons learned at project closure.

  • Mentors and trains other department members as appropriate, and works with department head to identify developmental needs of other project managers and capitalize on coaching opportunities to demonstrate those skills and provide constructive feedback.

  • The projects span all aspects of Marketing in Canada.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Job Requirements


REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or relevant Diploma in related field (e.g.life sciences, medical technology, marketing,) or equivalent knowledge and experience Experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years in Marketing of technically advanced product in complex market(s) Medical device and/or OR a minimum 1-3 years products Marketing experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years of People management experience.

  • Ability to travel occasionally. Must have a valid drivers license in good standing.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATION:

  • Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills.

  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge

  • Strong ability to work in multi-cultural, cross-functional Groups Other Considerations (travel/hours availability, etc.).
