The Amazon Business Marketing team is seeking an experienced Paid Media Marketing Manager to join our global Channel Marketing Team. As a Marketing Manager for Amazon Business, you will create world class marketing strategies to support our mission to grow Amazon Business globally. You will define, plan, execute, and measure Paid Media Campaigns (social, display ads, Amazon Display, etc.) that drive customer growth. You will partner with our international marketing teams to support launches of promotions and services. The impact of this role is significant and broad, accounting for a large percentage of our KPIs.

A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team oriented, a great communicator, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. You will have a proven track record taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

The Marketing Manager should be comfortable in both an ambiguous, self-sufficient role, as well as one of team support and interaction. Ownership of work is extremely important, and candidates should have a proven record of overseeing projects to their completion. The ideal candidate is motivated with strong time management and project management skills, and is technical and analytical. This opportunity requires excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. At the core of the position is thinking big about new opportunities, high attention to detail and delivering high quality results on time.

Marketing Manager, Paid Media Duties & Responsibilities will include:

  • Define and execute the Paid Media strategy for Amazon Business
  • Act as liaison to external and internal partners and effectively collaborate with them to support successful launches
  • Derive insights from data and synthesize and deliver improvements to campaign performance
  • Report on progress against goals and present relevant metrics to senior management
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, scope, and time to market
  • Write joint business review documents, experimentation roadmaps and campaign plans that work backwards from the customer
We are looking for candidates with:
  • The ability to create innovative marketing programs and/or partnerships to drive customer acquisition through paid advertising.
  • Strong time management skills: ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with a strong bias towards decision making based on data.
  • Advanced Excel skills, able to use it to analyze, extract insights and present recommendations.
  • The ability to make things happen quickly with large, less nimble partners and/or teams.
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills with extreme attention to detail.
  • The ability to take, drive and/or influence strategic decisions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs from concept to completion
  • 3+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience managing paid media campaigns from inception to execution
  • Experience managing paid advertising budgets in platforms such as Google, Bing, Gemini, Facebook, Apple Search, Yahoo JP! and Amazon Advertising
  • Experience using any of the following Paid Media management tools: Adobe Ad Cloud, Google Ads Editor, Microsoft Ads Editor, Kenshoo, Marin Software, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Audience Manager
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of mobile advertising experience for a consumer technology product or service.
  • Experience in the B2B, retail and/or technology business.
  • Direct, hands-on experience with Google UAC, Apple Search Ads and ad networks.
  • Familiarity with ad-fraud prevention mechanisms/ tools.
  • Experience in driving the implementation of a robust technology stack (e.g. mobile attribution partner, fraud prevention tool etc.).
